FOREST SWORDS

Just played a couple Forest Swords tracks on the radio last night during vocal breaks, but I duno if I'll be able to do that again, not with amazing tracks like "Glory Gongs," which NPIP just posted (w/ attached video). The track is way low-d0wn, more rhythmic and _____-steppy than some of the more ambient/psych leanings they've produced in peeped tracks past. At the same time it's got this brooding, outlaw bassline, it also carries a sunscorched metallic sheen, coupled with echoed and repeated vocal pieces atop churning eddies of guitar, dinghy rutters, seafoam. Fantastic for the early morning wake-up, could also soundtrack late nite hunts, haunts, bike gang chases, mountain climbs, and general moonlit abandon.

Check out all the stuff NPIP has posted from them HERE, and download the entire Fjree Feather EP HERE. Then get your hands on a copy of the Glory Gongs cassette HERE, out on Woven Tones soon (who is also releasing music from Hype Williams and Wonder Wheel...).

Get acquainted with the following Forest Swords videos for "Glory Gongs" and the previously dug track "Miarches," which you can BUY in cassette form from Leftist Nautical Antiques HERE.
