BOX ELDERS

Box Elders' Alice and Friends is full of youthful abandon, resentment, hopelessness.. but at the same time there's a certain glow, a feeling that nothing sucks and everything is possible. There's punk sneer, glam sheen and garage soul, all threadbare and wrapped in a tightly bundled 14-song 30-minute record which can be digested in a single sitting, though, if you're like me, it's unlikely you'll only want to listen once. The album officially drops August 11 on Goner. Here's a couple samples to chew on and if it tastes right, BUY IT.
