RUBIO

What better way to celebrate the first ten or so games of Minnesota Timberwolves rookie point guard Ricky Rubio's NBA career than with ambient synthesizer fog summoned from the fingers of Oneohtrix Point Never? The sounds are pure and the pace is meandering, perhaps an homage to how Rubio's killer point guard genes help him slow down the game of basketball, allowing the Spaniard to perform mind-blowing ball passing techniques.

Does this mark the first in a series of OPN hoops meditations?
Will the next OPN track be called "Biyombo Demo"?
Has Dan Lopatin become a Boston sports traitor by supporting the T-Wolves?

Ponder these questions while sampling the track and scrolling through select Rubio Google Image Search gold below.

nice- ill always be a Blazer, but Rubio is fun to watch- also, Lopatin is probably sick of watching Bostons old tired bones, and knows they are not what they once were (and i couldn't be happier)- thnx
