APTBS

I just learned today that A Place To Bury Strangers is playing a show in less than a week in the area. The pedal-makin dudes will hit up The Grind at Clark University for a show Saturday which will most likely be free (everything I've seen there has been, including No Age/Soft Circle/Silk Flowers, Fleet Foxes/Blitzen Trapper, YACHT/Snakes Say Hisss, Black Lips/Selmanaires, Girl Talk/Santogold). The show appears to start at around 8PM, as evident on their Myspace which I just so happened to look at earlier. It's the only date they have listed except for a March 5 show in New York with Ra Ra Riot, Marnie Stern, and Apache Beat as well as their recently announced appearance at this year's Coachella festival. I absolutely suggest making it to this show, even if it means skipping out on Passion Pit at Pearl Street and Kokolo at the Blue Wall in the Campus Center at UMass (which is also free and sponsored by WMUA). I checked em out with Holy Fuck upstairs at the Middle East in Cambridge earlier on last year and they were berserk. I took that shot up there at the show. Here's some more:
